The Telesis TMP1700 is a micro-percussion (dot peen) marking system designed for the permanent identification of industrial components. It uses an stylus that impacts the material surface to create durable marks and enable direct part traceability. The PinStamp TMP1700 is ideal for industrial applications thanks to its robust, compact, and reliable design, producing marks that withstand harsh conditions and aggressive environments. Its configuration allows for easy integration into manual workstations, automated cells, and production lines.
One of the most widely used Telesis systems in the industry for part identification over the years is the TMP1700 model.
When paired with the TMC470 or TMC520 controller, it offers an intuitive user interface and seamless integration with automation systems. Programming is simple and allows the creation of alphanumeric text, 2D codes, QR codes, and Micro QR codes, giving the user full control over character size, dot density, and positioning within the X-Y plane.
Its versatility allows it to mark everything from delicate materials to hardened steels (up to 60RC), thanks to its quick-change marking pins. The TMP1700 also incorporates TELESIS´ patented floating pin technology, enabling high marking speeds and the ability to adapt to surface irregularities.
This small but powerful tool features an effective marking window of 2.5” x 1.5” (X,Y), making it suitable for most marking applications.
Additionally, it supports connectivity with auxiliary axes, enabling marking on circular parts.
The TMP1700 continues to be an industry benchmark thanks to its balance of precision, durability, and operational reliability.
